The International Poplar Society (IPS) is a non-profit organization gathering amateurs and experts around the world who appreciate the genus Populus. Founded in Poland in 2025, we are a growing group of friends who truly enjoy all poplar species. IPS is built by researchers, authors, botanists, nurserymen, home gardeners, students, and people who love poplar trees by the way they are. Our activities include sharing information about species and cultivars of Populus, discussion, education, plant material, and seed exchange, promoting poplar trees, and increasing public awareness of poplars.
